Meet Michelle
Michelle brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in vacation rental and property management, caring for homes and helping homeowners navigate everything from everyday property needs to unexpected emergencies.
In 2004, Michelle moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she owned and operated a vacation rental and property management business for more than 20 years. Managing properties in an international destination meant being available when homeowners needed her most, including providing 24/7 emergency support and coordinating property care from routine maintenance to major projects.
In 2014, that experience was put to the test when Hurricane Odile, a major Category 4 hurricane, struck Los Cabos. Responsible for approximately 50 properties at the time, Michelle coordinated recovery efforts and managed extensive restoration and remodeling projects, including properties that required rebuilding from floor to ceiling.
Mexico became much more than a place to work—it became home. Michelle raised her two daughters in San José del Cabo and spent 12 years immersed in the local community, language, and culture. Those years continue to shape the way she serves others today: communicating clearly and caring for every property as though it were her own.
Meet Bret
Bret has called Tampa, Florida home for 45 years and brings extensive hands-on experience in construction, property restoration, renovation, and project coordination.
For 10 years, Bret built and renovated baseball fields throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County, working on projects from the ground up. That experience gave him firsthand knowledge of construction, site preparation, renovation, and seeing projects through from start to finish.
Bret also co-owned a company specializing in sinkhole-affected homes, helping distressed homeowners navigate the insurance process while coordinating the renovation and rebuilding necessary to make their homes safe again. He later worked with a property management company in the Tampa area, evaluating properties, developing remodeling ideas, estimating project costs, hiring contractors, and helping oversee renovations.
Tampa isn't simply where Bret built his professional experience—it's home. He raised his two children in the area and has deep roots in the community. Away from work, he's an avid baseball and football fan—and after spending a decade building and renovating baseball fields, it's fitting that baseball remains a favorite. Go Rays!
Our Story
A Chance Meeting. A Shared Faith. A New Purpose.
In December 2024, Michelle and Bret met unexpectedly on a Caribbean cruise. What began as a chance meeting grew into a close relationship through daily FaceTime calls and conversations about life, family, faith, and the future.
Praying for one another and their families became a nightly ritual, and conversations about future endeavors soon turned toward how their different experiences could come together to help others. Through those conversations, their shared faith, and a genuine desire to serve, an idea began to take shape.
That idea became Elevate Estate & Property Services.
Together, Michelle and Bret set out to build a company grounded in faith, integrity, compassion, and genuine care—a helping hand people can depend on when life or property becomes complicated.
